Blueprint Gaming Prepares for International Growth with New Gaming Studio Lucksome

Leading slot machine provider Blueprint Gaming has unveiled the latest development studio Lucksome, which promises to bring exciting and innovative new content to the global gaming industry.

Joining Blueprint’s multi-studio strategy, Lucksome leads a team with a collective 29 years of experience in developing online casino, land-based and social casino games in the global marketplace. The new venture has big ambitions to release localized games that are player-centered and packed with innovative concepts.

The new studio will explore other gaming styles in addition to online slots and will also present a new innovative multi-game concept in the first quarter. The first games developed by Lucksome will be distributed through the Blueprint RGS platform in the second quarter of 2021.

The Malta-based Lucksome team is led by Brian Upton, a game developer, content strategist and industry veteran who most recently worked at NetEnt, leading the company’s RNG product development division. He has over 14 years of experience in the gaming industry, previously with IGT, OpenBet and Inspired. The company also employs former NetEnt and Yggdrasil employees Josefin Appeke, who became head of the creative department and game designer, and Johan John, senior product manager.

Lucksome becomes the latest studio in Blueprint’s growing portfolio of games, following in the footsteps of Games Warehouse, Livewire, Project, Reel Time Gaming and Merkur Gaming. The addition of Lucksome is an important step in Blueprint’s efforts to expand its international presence by providing quality, localized content to operators in multiple markets.
