For the third time, casinos and other gambling businesses in England are closed due to the coronavirus. The same restrictions were introduced as in the first quarantine, when people were forbidden to leave their homes unnecessarily.
The government will revise the restrictions in mid-February. So, for at least another month and a half, the already pretty shabby land business will again suffer losses. Land-based casinos were among the last to be allowed to open after the first quarantine. Bookmaker offices were closed from March 23 to June 15, bingo was allowed from July 4, and casinos only from August 15.
In the fall, the casinos were closed again, so the establishments did not manage to work normally last year. Apparently, this year will be held in the same mode of openings and closings.
