Norwegian regulator secured removal of casino Facebook pages

Facebook removed 36 online casino pages that, without a local license, attracted players from Norway. There are many well-known brands such as Vega & John, Rizk, ComeOn and others among those who fell under the "reduction".

It was reported that the pages were in Norwegian and called for play on sites that did not have a Norwegian license. At the moment, the gambling business in the country is a state monopoly. Given the attractiveness of this market, obviously the regulator has to deal with a considerable number of people who want to snatch a piece of the pie.

However, according to some reports, the association dealing with the problem of gambling addiction in the country is studying what will be best for the players. Abandon the monopoly or open the market for licensing.
